Monday, Dec. 25, 2023 ¡Que tal! ¿Como estan? ¡Feliz Navidad! Wow. I can't believe it's Christmas already. Time flies by.  This week was pretty mellow. My comp got really sick so we were inside for all of Wednesday and Thursday. This allowed me to do lots of studying. Lots of Spanish, conference talks, BoM, New Testament, and some books in the apartment. I also made some good food.  I got news on Friday that I have to resubmit my visa. They changed the system for Bolivian visas and so I have to redo mine. But they said it should go way faster and they are putting me on priority. So that's good. They have all my documents ready, and the consulate has my passport. So I'm going to use a computer at the stake center tomorrow and it should go pretty smoothly hopefully. We've had some great food this week per usual. Always a blessing to get fed by the members.  We got chased by a couple ravenous  dogs this week that wouldn't back down to the taser until the last second...

Monday, Dec. 18, 2023 ¡Que tal! ¿Como estan?  A great week here in Texas. Elder Mecham and I grinded this week and made our goal of beating our record for lessons.  Shoutout to two of my brothers, ben and Andrew, who had birthdays recently. (Ben's was on the 6th and Andrew's today) I love you guys!!  Some highlights from the week  Ward Christmas party Great food at the Christmas party  Some fire pulled pork(not as good as my dad's but it was still pretty good) Our friend Steven pulled up! It was an absolute blast and he had a great time Made 2 game winners in basketball today (one from well behind the ark) Got to speak a good amount of Spanish this week  Got preached a full sermon from a preacher Had some more incredible member meals Saw some amazing sunsets  Our water went out for a whole day lol Started to study the new testament more. Monday, Dec. 11, 2023 Que tal everyone!  I am writing this email way late and it's technically not p day anymore. I completely forgot to write this earlier, so I will keep this short. Lo siento! Transfers happened, and i am staying here in Soccoro. Elder Carbine got transferred to the Chamizal zone, and Elder Mecham is staying with me. We are gonna grind this transfer and work as hard as we can. We had 2 elders move in to our apartment. Elder Dwarte who is bilingual in Spanish and English and Elder Garcia who is from Chihuahua Mexico. It is so nice to have 2 fluent Spanish speakers in the apartment. I speak to them in Spanish as much as I can and then are helping me. The apartment is a lot more packed now, we got 4 elders and 1 bathroom. It's alright though we are making it work. Elder Renlund of the Quorum of the 12 Apostles came on Friday to give a training for all the people involved in the ward missionary efforts for all the wards in the south zones.  Monday, Dec. 4, 2023 Que tal! How are y'all doing? Another week down in Texas.  I can't believe I've already been a missionary for 3 months. Time is flying.  This week has been good but the work was a little slow. It's all right though.  Sierra Blanca was super awesome. We visited the members down there. There's a couple who lives in a trailer on the outskirts of town on the top of a mountain that no one knows how to get to. So no one has been able to contact them for a bit. But we just happened to run into them at the only gas station in town. A miracle. I know that the Lord made that happen. We talked with them for a while and shared a scripture. Super cool.  One of the other members is an older lady who once had 38 cats. So bananas. She's narrowed it down to 4 now.  The Allens are the absolute best. Sister Allen waited 60 years for her. Brother Allen to be temple worthy. He finally gave up tobacco and smoking and they got sealed a few months ago. So inc...
