Monday, Nov. 27, 2023 Que tal everyone! How's everyone doing? I hope yall are doing great and had a great Thanksgiving!  This week was pretty good. Thanksgiving here was awesome. Our zone did a turkey bowl which was super fun. Then we went to the parade in downtown El Paso, which was really fun. They had all sorts of floats and also military and border patrol and fire department and police vehicles. Loved that. We got a lot of people and Mascots to t-pose which was really funny. After the parade we cleaned up with the ward. Each ward  In the Texas zones had a block. We then bustled back to go to our first dinner. Really good. Then we went straight to another. Straight gas.  Then we went to the other Elders In the ward apartment to chill until we had to head home. Super fun day. And I got to call home.  Steven came to church again on Sunday!! What a beast. Monday, Nov. 20, 2023  Que tal everyone! I hope you have all had a great week!  This week felt like a blur. Felt like we just had p day. Time flies when you are working hard serving the lord. Alright, so about the title. We got a glock pulled on us. Yeah like for real. We took another priest in the ward out oym-ing (open your mouth) with us, and we were about to be done. We go up to this door, and I had a bad feeling about it, but we knocked. The guy comes out and starts swearing at us and crap, and we are like sorry sir we are just going around sharing messages of Jesus Christ, but we are sorry for bothering you. We say have a great night. He says it too lol. And then we walk off and kinda start laughing because we are like what the heck just happened. Like a dude goes from swearing to wishing us a good night lol. And then we turn around and we see a glock in his hand, he points it out and says "you wanna play like that huh?" "I see how it is!" Monday, Nov. 13, 2023 Que tal! This week flew by haha. But a lot happened! We grinded this week and found a ton of new people to teach. We also got a ton of lessons in! So awesome. It's awesome to set goals and work hard for them. My companions and I all worked really hard and we saw the results. Here's some highlights  Got Bible bashed for a solid 15 minutes In Spanish by this abuela. Good times  Got absolutely flamed by this judge lady who thought she was the absolute best We took a priest in the ward out with us OYMing and he bore his testimony really powerfully to the judge and the spirit was so strong  Went to the Harley Davidson store and took some fire pics  Went to a gas mexican restaurant  Got fed lots of Mexican food from the members and also pizza  Spoke a ton of Spanish and got to teach lots of lessons in Spanish  Played lots of basketball today and I balled out. Monday, Nov. 6, 2023 Que tal everyone! Another great week in El paso!  On Tuesday we went tracting and I felt prompted to go to this one street and we knocked on this man's door and he said he wasn't interested but to go to the trailer home at the side of the house. So we knock on the door and a woman answers who only speaks Spanish. So it was my time to shine. I explained who we were and talked about what we believe and about the book of Mormon. I bore my testimony and she said she was interested in learning more. So i have her a Spanish Bom and our card and we got her info. She seems prepared to hear our message so that Is so awesome.  We also felt prompted to talk to a man doing yard work in his yard. He talked to us for 10 minutes about all the crazy stuff going on in the world and how he's done stuff that he regrets.
