Elder Max Richards 2023-2025

Monday, January 27, 2025 Que tal yall!  Here's the rundown. We pull up to transfers and I honestly had no idea what to expect, just that I knew that I was going to a new area because I had my bags. Well President calls the trainers up first and he calls my name! I run up to hug my son Elder Cadillo! I'm training!!!! So fire!!! And what's also crazy is that we are opening up an área!!! So wild!  I'm so pumped to be training again! This brings my posterity to 3 sons and 1 grandson! And I couldn't have been blessed up with a better hijo. Elder Cadillo is an absolute dawg! He's from Peru and he's ready to work and he understands the importance of obedience! A fire has lit in me and we are going to be working as hard as we can in this beautiful area of Vinto 2 while focusing on obedience and consecration! Monday, January 20, 2025 Que tal yall!  I am out of time but the highlight of the week was going to the temple with Rene! It was such a powerful experience and he loved it! Then yesterday I got to bless the sacrament with him! It's been so awesome to see his growth and he's looking forward to the future for his next steps in the gospel of Jesus Christ!  Sorry probably the shortest email ever but I love yall and have a great week!  Love, Elder Richards 

Tuesday, January 14, 2025 Que tal yall! This week was pretty fire. We had some big miracles that I want to share.  First off, we received a reference from Facebook from a guy named Roberto who wanted to come closer to God. We did a videocall with him and taught him about the Book of Mormon and the power that it has in helping us come closer to Christ. Near the end, we asked if he had any question and he said "where can I get one of those books?" We asked if we could go by that same day and he said he was free right then. We got there in 15 minutes and gave him a copy. He was very grateful. We went back the next day and he had read and loved it. He unfortunately couldn't come to church but we have a lesson this evening with him and it should be fire. On Sunday, our recent convert Rene received the Aaronic priesthood! Yesterday we taught him everything about the sacrament and on Saturday we are going to go to the temple with him to do baptisms and then on Sunday he will ble...

Monday, Jan. 6, 2025 Que tal yall!  We had a lot of fun things that happened this week.  Because p day last week was extended to be all day, we went to the Church to play volleyball and fútbol in the evening. It was a ton of fun. Our team of only americans fought heard and we stayed on the court almost the whole night.  On friday, we got to go up to the Cristo at night as a zone and with Presidente and Hermana Lopera and the office missionaries because we won the Christmas competition to make something out of recyclable materials. We made a dope sleigh.  We had Burger King and it was awesome to be able to chill and look over the city at night while being able to remember the savior. An awesome night On Saturday I got another migraine but my comp was able to text a lot of people while I was suffering in my bed and he found someone that wants to be baptized! Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025 Que tall yall!  Happy new year!  I want to start out by giving a big shoutout to my cousin Emily for getting her mission call today!!!!! The nevada las Vegas west mission is getting an absolute dawg! Y también espanol! Ya tu sabes que vamos a hablar en español! Vamos!!!!!  Last week, Christmas Eve and Christmas were awesome! For the last 90 days until Christmas eve, we have been studying the Book of Mormon as a mission, while marking 3 different purposes. A personal purpose, everything that relates to our missionary purpose, and everything that relates and points to our mission culture in our mission of faith, baptisms, and miracles. It's been a really awesome experience! At First, it was very hard for me because I am a slow reader in Spanish and it takes me a while to understand in Spanish what I'm reading. But I really started to call upon the lord for help to bless me with the gift of tongues and the gift of the interpretation of tongues. And I ...
