Elder Max Richards 2023-2025

Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2024 Que tal yall!  This week was pretty fire.  We had some fire activities to prepare for Christmas including on Tuesday, we went to the Plaza here in Sacaba as a zone to sing Christmas songs and gift wrapped books of mormon away to everyone we could! It was very awesome!  On Thursday, we had our Christmas zone conference. It was a ton of fun with skits from each zone. Our zone had a fun one where we did a twist on the Charles Dickens Christmas story but with a trunky missionary in place of scrooge. It was a ton of fun.  We also got to go to this nice restaurant after and we could get the things we normally couldn't eat besides fish. So I got to try some ribs for the first time in 8 months which was awesome. And I also got some pique which is always fire.  My comp and I have been doing the spiritual fast this transfer which is basically where you fast from things that don't invite the spirit or take it away. Monday, Dec. 16, 2024 Que tal yall!  This week was really good!  Monday night through Wednesday morning I got to go on an exchange with Elder Sorenson! This is the 3rd exchange ive had with him and they are always super fire. This week we did This things in the mission where we wrapped 50 Book of Mormons with wrapping paper with our testimonies inside and gifted out 10 a day! Elder Sorenson and I started out the first day strong and were able to give 10 away to people who were so excited to recive them. It was super awesome!  On Wednesday Elder Collins and I had some fire lessons and were able to Put our friend Daniel On date to be Baptized on January 4th!  We also had transfers and I got a New comp! I'm with Elder Potter from Washington and he's a dawg! We have some great plans and goals to be better missionaries and to work as hard as We can! I'm super pumped for this transfer! Monday, Dec. 9, 2024 Que tal yall!  This week was pretty fire and a lot happened but I unfortunately can't remember to much haha this week was a blur. But ill include as much as I can remember!  On Tuesday night, we had the opportunity to sing Christmas songs and hymns at the house of the stake president with President and Hermana Lopera! It was a very special experience to be there and the spirit was very strong. And we got some really good pizza after which was fire.    Had district council this week and Elder Collins and I presented our plan to the zone that will help our friends really apply the Book of Mormon to their lives and recive the blessings!  Then Elder Penteulute did the baptismal interview for our friend Maycol and he passed with flying colors! On Friday I got to do an exchange with our District Leader Elder Penteulute. We had a great day in Huayllani with a lot of miracles. Monday, Dec. 2, 2024 Que tal yall!  Pretty good week here in Bolivia filled with miracles.  Had zone conference this week which was powerful as always. Elder Collins and I had a fire training planned for the zone involving the Book of Mormon and how we can better help our friends apply it to their lives and receive the blessings. We didn't have time to give it but we are gonna give it for our next zone council so that will be fire. We had a really good burger for lunch and there was an extra so I got two. Always a dub.  Thanksgiving! As you can guess, no one celebrates it here but there was a member family from another ward that invited us over to have a Thanksgiving meal with them and the missionaries in their ward. It was such a kind and loving sacrifice. We has roast, mashed potatoes and gravy and some bread with some desserts. It was very awesome. We also got permission to call home which was sweet.
