Week 99: A fire (and watery) week (Semana 99: una semana de fuego (y agua))

Que tal yall!
This week was jam packed and very good!
We had a lot of work in the offices this week and we were able to get everything done!
On Tuesday our pension made us a special lunch for my birthday! Pique Machu and a cake of Marecua. Very yummy.
During the week, we had some cool miracles. Including a tender mercy of me finding a man with a Chiefs sweatshirt! He was super cool and i got to take a picture with him.
On Saturday, we visited Elder Bott and Elder Ramos, the zone leaders of zona Sarco, and had a good study. Then we had interviews with President in the mission home. It was my final interview and it was very special. He gave me some amazing advice for after my mission.
Then, we got to help Hermana Lopera make Columbian Empanadas. Super ricas. And they threw me a surprise birthday party with some amazing chocolate and peanut butter cake! Super kind of them and it was awesome being in the mission home with President and Hermana Lopera and the all the offices. They always drop some awesome wisdom and bars and it's awesome.
On Sunday, our friend Andres got baptized!
The reason I put watery in the title is because the font overflowed. It's a long story but basically we had to open up the doors and squeegee the water out. It took an hour and like 20 members were all helping us. Even Andres was helping. After a big effort we were able to get everything dry and Andres got baptized! He's such a dawg and bore his testimony of the BOM. All of the young men (who are his best friends) were there to support him which was awesome to see.
After we had lunch with Bishop and his family. The Illanes family are so humble and Christlike and huge examples for me. I have loved getting to know them.
It was a very special week! Just grinding! Only got 10 days left and just trying to make the most out of every minute! I love the Savior, and serving him and these amazing people in this amazing country. I love it here!!!
