Week 20: The Lord's work

Que tal yall! 

This week went well. There wasn't too much that happened. So I'll just include a few highlights 

Had some amazing food
Saw some amazing sunsets 
Worked hard 
This personal trainer in another elders ward is doing a 6 week training program for free with us. It's super hard but I know I will see the results at the end of this transfer. 

Something that has been hard is that we feel like we are working super hard, but not seeing a ton of success. I am reminded of the scripture of the harvest. Sometimes we  reap, sometimes we sow. But it is all the lords work. Right now, it feels like we are sowing a lot and planting seeds. But I know that it is super important, and all apart of the lords harvest. I just have to trust in his timing, and his plans. He is all powerful and all loving. And his plans are always far greater than our dreams.

Monday, Aug. 4, 2025 Que tal yall!  This week was jam packed and very good!  We had a lot of work in the offices this week and we were able to get everything done!  On Tuesday our pension made us a special lunch for my birthday! Pique Machu and a cake of Marecua. Very yummy.  During the week, we had some cool miracles. Including a tender mercy of me finding a man with a Chiefs sweatshirt! He was super cool and i got to take a picture with him.  On Saturday, we visited Elder Bott and Elder Ramos, the zone leaders of zona Sarco, and had a good study. Then we had interviews with President in the mission home. It was my final interview and it was very special. He gave me some amazing advice for after my mission.  Then, we got to help Hermana Lopera make Columbian Empanadas. Super ricas.
