Week 21: Bussin food

Que tal yall!
How's everyone doing?
This week we worked really hard and beat our record again for lessons, as well as lessons with members participating. We've continued the training with Saul and its been brutal but really good.
We've had some amazing food this week. The members in the Soccoro ward make really good food and we get fed pretty much every day. A huge blessing. A couple members are professional chefs and are incredible at what they do. They made us some incredible pizza and quesadillas this week, as well as amazing steak, brisket and potatoes and guacamole. With corn tortillas. Sorry if It feels like I talk about food too much in here, I just love it a lot haha.
Sunday was super powerful. So blessed to take the sacrament and renew our covenants, and have a special focus on the Savior and his sacrifice.
Fast and testimony meeting was super powerful and the spirit was so strong. Some amazing testimonies. And we had a lot of friends pull up to church! So awesome. Luis has come a lot now and he stayed for 2nd hour too! 2nd hour was also super powerful.
Today, we played a little basketball, but it's not as good as it was so we don't play as much. We also went to the sand hills again with saul which was super brutal. Way harder than last time but I feel a lot better than last time. Saul is the goat.

3 Nephi 26:9
"And when they shall have received this, which is expedient that they should have first, to try their faith, and if it shall so be that they shall believe these things then shall the greater things be made manifest unto them"
I read this during personal study this week and it really stuck out to me. In life, we face a lot of opposition and a lot of trials. The lord says there must be opposition in all things. The hard times are meant to make us stronger. The Lord tests our faith. If we hold out, and trust in the Lord, and turn to him, and put our faith in him, then things will work out. God's plans are always far greater than our dreams. I've this many times in my life and also on my mission. Whatever yall may be going through, turn to the Lord. Put your trust in him. Come to know him. And he will lead and guide you to something far greater than you could ever imagine.
