Week 44: Lesson with President

Que tal yall!
Wow this week was crazy! We had so many miracles and it was a very busy week!
Some of the big highlights:
Had an intercambio with my zone leader Elder Heaton! Love that guy. We had some amazing miracles including finding a family who are very interested! We also caught our friend Carol walking out of her house and had a pop up lesson with her. She ended up coming to church on Sunday! So awesome.
On Friday we had planned to have a noche de hogar (family home evening) with a family who are all members except the parents. They have come to church 50 times but they don't want to get married. So we had planned such a powerful lesson on marriage and eternal families and on the temple. And the best part is that Presidente y Hermana Lopera were going to be joining us for the lesson!
We were so pumped. We confirmed the lesson 3 times and it was gonna be so powerful.
We pull up and the Loperas pull up too.
And we call the fam and they aren't there. Big bummer. But the Lord had other plans. We end up getting prompted to visit a returning member. We had such a powerful visit and it was so incredible to witness the Loperas teach.
Afterwards they drove us home and to pick up our cena (dinner) and they inspected our apartment. We got chastised in the most loving way ever of how we could be better with our apartment. I felt their love for us to be better and improve. The spirit was very strong.
We had a great lesson with our friend José on Saturday. He has been reading the Book of Mormon and is understanding the gospel! We called a member to bear her testimony and she was so led by the spirit. She invited him to be baptized! He is going to pick a date our next lesson.
On Sunday night we had a mission wide meeting and president announced some changes and how there was gonna be 6 new areas opened and a mid transfer transfer to reorganize some things.
We get the news after and I'm going to another area in our zone to finish the training of a Brazilian and be the district leader over there. Very pumped! It will definitely be stretching because this will be the first time training another elder just myself and I've also never been district leader.
I'm currently packing my things and we head to the mission offices tonight at 7. Even with how hard Fruitillar is, I'm sad to be leaving it because we have some really cool people we are teaching and our pensionista is awesome. But I know the Lord needs me in Esmeralda now!

God loves us so much that he sent his beloved son, Jesucristo, so we could be happy, and have eternal joy living with them!
