Week 51: Miracles

Que tal yall! 
How are yall doing? It was a great week here in Esmeralda. Lets get into it. 

Elder Skinner and I worked really hard this week and saw a lot of miracles. We really saw the hand of the Lord in touching the hearts of our friends.

The family we are teaching, Cristian, Mariela and their two hijos, are doing so well. We have been working so hard to get them married. It's been hard because Cristian's mom doesn't want them to get married. And it's been tough for Cristian to talk to her about it. We have been praying for them and for his moms heart to be softened. When we first started teaching them, they said that they wanted to get married in October. We testified to them about the blessings of eternal marriage and we really encouraged them to get married a lot sooner so they could have the blessings of the gospel in their lives. 
The last lesson that we had, they said that they had decided to get married and wanted to get married in September. Cristian and Sahariel will be getting baptized the day after their baptism. 
We are so pumped from them! This family is an absolute miracle. Yesterday at church, Mariela (the mom who is a returning member) bore her testimony of how she's so happy to be returning to church gave a powerful testimony of prayer. It was so awesome! I'm just so grateful to be able to teach this family this gospel! 

I am so grateful to be a representative of Christ to share the joy that I have through the gospel of Jesus Christ!

Monday, Aug. 4, 2025 Que tal yall!  This week was jam packed and very good!  We had a lot of work in the offices this week and we were able to get everything done!  On Tuesday our pension made us a special lunch for my birthday! Pique Machu and a cake of Marecua. Very yummy.  During the week, we had some cool miracles. Including a tender mercy of me finding a man with a Chiefs sweatshirt! He was super cool and i got to take a picture with him.  On Saturday, we visited Elder Bott and Elder Ramos, the zone leaders of zona Sarco, and had a good study. Then we had interviews with President in the mission home. It was my final interview and it was very special. He gave me some amazing advice for after my mission.  Then, we got to help Hermana Lopera make Columbian Empanadas. Super ricas.
