Week 72: The Lord's work

Que tal yall! 

This week went well! 

We had a lot of miracles, found a lot of cool people and the spirit was very strong!

I honestly can't remember too much of what happened just that we felt the spirit a lot this week and we were able to find a lot of people who needed to hear the message of the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ! 

One particular instance was that we were out tracting with a recent convert. He is preparing for his patriarchal blessing and we were able to have a powerful conversation with him about the gospel! After taking cover from a huge rainstorm, we headed back out looking for member family who has a son who isn't baptized. Well we knocked on the wrong door... but the man let us in. We taught him about the Book of Mormon and the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. The spirit was so powerful! It was insanely powerful. The recent convert Bore his testimony and I felt the spirit so strong! We gave him a book of Mormon, but he declined, saying that there was others out there who needed it more and he pertains to the Adventist church. I testified that the spirit led us Here to his house to give him this sacred testament of Jesus Christ because God knows him and knows how much the Book of Mormon can bless his life. He accepted, and said he is busy but would read it and compare it side by side with the Bible. We couldn't get a return appointment, but said that we know that the spirit will lead us back to you when you are available another day. 

Well the very next day, we are waking in the street. And I get an impression to keep going straight instead of turning. It would make our route longer but I followed the impression trusting in God's will. Less than a minute later, we find the man again. And we were able to talk very briefly with him and re extended the invitation to read the Book of Mormon. 

For me, that was a huge testimony builder of the lords work and the fact that God knows and loves each of his children. He knows exactly where we are and what we need in our lives! He Led us to this man, Twice, without us even trying to find him because he loves him and knows that he needs the restored Gospel. And even if he doesn't accept, we have planted a seed that will be harvested in the future. 

This is the Lord's work. Christ directs it. This is His church and His gospel.
