Week 86: Mothers Day Miracle

Que tal yall!
First of all shout out to my mom for Mothers day! Happy Mothers day!!! I love you so much and thank you for everything you do for me! My mom is the most Christlike and loving and kind person ever. She has taught me so much and continues to teach me so much. Literally the best mom in the world! Love you!
And also shootout to all of the other moms that have also been very important in my life. My grandmas, aunts, the moms of my best friends and the "mission moms" as well. Yall are the best!
OK so the big highlight this week was the Mothers day miracle as the title says.
It starts this last Tuesday.
The story starts this last Thursday. So we have a friend who has a baptismal Date. And he loves the book of mormón. But we needed his Dad's permission for him to get baptized because he is under 18 years old. We went to talk to his dad and long story short his dad doesn't want him to get baptize. I could talk about it for 15 minutes but basically we left really sad and a little frustrated because his son has the desire. We tried to talk to his dad but he wouldn't let us talk.
We went and sat in a park to calm down and we decided to watch the video of Elder Holland talking about missionary work (iykyk). We prayed and just decided to put our trust in the lord and went back to work.
Two days later, we pull up to the Chapel for a lesson and as we leave, some members wave for us to come over. They introduce us to their family member. She says "the missionaries in Santa Cruz told me to talk to you guys about my baptismal interview."
I was in happy shock.
She had been investigating the church on and off for 2 years and in the last month her faith has grown so much. She received her testimony that this is the true church and decided to follow the savior and be baptized with her family.
She had to get an emergency surgery here in Cochabamba so her kids got baptized last week and she came here to get baptized in her sister's ward.
We had the interview, prepared everything and yesterday Bianca was able to make her first covenant with God, with her nephew baptizing her.
This was such a miracle!!! Literally a true example of our mission culture. Fe, bautismo, y milagros.
I am so grateful that we got to play a small part in Biancas story. And now we Will be able to keep strengthening her conversion.
In a week of having such a sad thing happen, we were able to have such an amazing thing happen. A child of God making her first covenant with him.
A Mothers day miracle.
Jesus Christ lives. This is His work.
